
Richard brings over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry to his clients, with 19 years as a licensed investment professional. He is a graduate of the Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking and has a Masters of Education degree from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. Richard is a United States Marine Corps veteran where he was a Naval Flight Officer. He holds a Series 7, 63 and 66 license.
Richard lives in Fergus Falls, Minnesota with his wife Deborah. Interests outside of work include kayaking the area lakes and rivers, gardening, coaching youth athletics, and most of all, spending time with family.
Previously, Richard was a member of the School Board in Morris, Minnesota for 17 years where he served as the chairman. He also served as a board member for the city of Morris for 18 years where he was the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) chair. Richard is a founding member of the Dollars for Scholars scholarship program in Morris and served as their treasurer for 20 years.
